Midnight Platform's Golden Portal

A cinematic anime film still in the muted, live-action style of MAPPA's Chainsaw Man. A woman in her late twenties stands alone on a dim, empty subway platform late at night, bag over her shoulder, hesitating — because one of the tunnel archways ahead of her, where a train should come from, instead glows with soft warm golden light, drifting flower petals and glowing motes floating out of it into the cold station. She stares into it, caught between curiosity and unease. Framed at eye level down the platform, tiled walls, flickering fluorescent lights and empty benches in cold blue-green, the single warm glowing archway drawing the eye. Cold fluorescent light against the warm mysterious glow spilling from the tunnel, deep shadows, a muted desaturated grade, fine film grain and faint haze. Mysterious, wondrous, quiet and dreamlike.
