The only light comes from the eerie, erratic glow of a few CRT arcade cabinets left powered on deep within the arcade, casting neon blues and reds onto the faded carpet outside. The rest of the mall concourse is completely swallowed by shadows. No people, uncanny valley, liminality, nostalgic dread, moody atmosphere, raytraced reflections.
